I love this straightener! I did not know that a straightener can actually make your hair feel soft and shiny. I usually just buy the cheapest straightener out there but this time I decided to spend a little more. Definitely worth the price! Doesn't pull out your hair (unless you put WAY too much hair in there) and is very easy to use. Warms up quickly and I love the side "cooler" things. I flip my hair out and these really help to make it very easy to flip and it stays all day!

Words cannot describe how much I love my You Style. I have had it for maybe a little less than a year and it has been a relationship made in Heaven. My natural hair is curly, frizzy, wild, and left damaged by years of mis-processed or overdone treatments. This is a great product to use if you want soft curls or wavy hair. It was very easy to use and did not take a long time to get the effect that I wanted. I have straight thin shoulder length layered hair. When I used this product I got full soft wavy curls in just a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this product.

I really like this product because it makes my hair look thicker. I blow dry it with a round brush to give it some body and then use the curling iron to maximize it and I have gotten lots of compliments. Love this iron.

I really like this product. It straightens my hair fast and with no damage to it (but I do use a heat protection spray). It gets Very hot, VERY FAST. I have long thick hair (middle of back) and I use this straightener almost everyday. I have not had one bad experience with this product. I love it and would highly recommend this product to everyone. This is one of the best things Conair made. I have used Conair all my life and will keep using them. I love this Curling/ Straightening Iron. It does both so well. I have short hair and it makes it straight and curled under on the ends all in one stroke. It even comes with a DVD that shows how to use it (It was easy to use without watching it). This is the second Conair straightening iron (the first curling/straightening) I have owned and the other one has lasted for years. This one is great quality too. I would highly recommend this.

I have had numerous flat irons/curling irons over the years - from cheap to expensive. I have thick, wavy, shoulder-length hair that is fine in texture and splits easily. This is by far the best styling tool I have ever used. It is lightweight with the controls on the outer edge. I like the wide plates and the non-heat ends that I can grab to give extra pressure. I use it on the medium setting so as not to burn my hair. It straightens great and leaves my hair shiny and bouncy.

I love this Hair Straightener! Don't you dare listen to the bad reviews. I was scared by them. But I bought it, and I immediately tried it and its perfect. Just as good as the expensive ones. I love this tool; it straightens my hair beautifully and leaves curls that my hair will actually hold. The first time I curled my hair was just my bangs in an attempt to keep from having to get it trimmed at that time. Unfortunately my bangs were too long, my fault not the curlers, so I went into the bathroom @ work and wet my bangs several times to brush them off to the side, and even the next day, they kept the curl.
It does curl, you just have to use the right amount of hair. And it will hold it for days at a time.

My hair is very, very thin and it doesn't hold curt very well unless I use a flat iron. I have a Chi flat iron and it has only one setting 'high' and it completely fries my hair, but the curl stays. Now with this Infinite by Conair, it actually instructs you to use it on the 'low' setting for curls and the curls stay and it doesn't fry my hair at all!

Even though I just got this product, I like what it does to my hair. I like the fact that I don't have to plug in a curling iron as well as the straightener but I have both in one hand! It's great! I am still learning how to use it properly lol but it comes with a tutorial DVD which I need to watch. However, I love it so far and definitely recommend it. Careful, the handle is a little slim, so if you're not used to a smaller handle, you might struggle a little bit while using it. Maybe you will, maybe you won't. I still am because I just got it.

I have VERY curly hair that used to take me at least an hour to get straight. But with this straightner, it takes only 30 min and looks like it was done by a professional. I love how small it is, it heats up really fast and the cord has a swivel on it so it is easy to handle. I got this as a Christmas present and I absolutely love it!

I've never had much luck curling my hair before. This handy little tool creates shiney, soft and bouncy curls. The people who did not have any luck with this possibley didnt watch the instuctional dvd (wich is very clear and makes the process even easier) or probably tried to curl lockes of hair that were too thick (does much better with thinner lockes and be sure to twirl hair with finger). The more I curl my hair the easier and faster the process has gotten. Havent tried to straighten with it, but I dont see why it wouldnt work. Very good product overall, would definitley recommend to anyone who has trouble curling their hair with conventional curlers and curling irons.

I loved this the first time I used it! I got it in teal, which is my favorite color. It's so much better than my old straightener! I can control the curl, and it even comes with a DVD to explain how to use it in case you have any difficulty. I can do so much more with it than a regular straightener. I love flipping out my hair and curling it under. It's just so versatile for just one product. Definitely worth the money.

Purchased this for a gift for my daughter. Received it and she watched the DVD that came with it. It took several practice runs to learn the way to get the curls, but once she got the hang of it she was very pleased. Her hair is long and straight with no natural curl and the after using the product as a curling iron, the curls stayed in all day. Very pleased.

I was iffy buying it after reading everyone else's reviews...but I love it. It didn't pull my hair once. I did the straightening and the curling and the curls are great. I used to just use my straightener to curl my hair but this toll makes it ten times easier! Maybe the other people complaining about it can't figure it out but it's not hard at all. Target is great with there return/exchange policy so I'd say try it.

I went out and bought this product yesterday after seeing the commercial. I have many irons. From flat to curling to hair setters. All great products don't get me wrong but I wanted something faster and that does a two and one combo. Let me tell you people! THIS IS IT! All I can say is AMAZING! I was a bit skeptical at first. Then I slipped it through the first couple strands of hairs and BAM! Smooth curly and whatever you want it to be or do!
The best thing about it this is it's versatility. You can wear it straight, wavy or you can go super curly by sectioning the hair thinner. Whatever you want!
Also, for those people that have wavy or curly hair and always want the kinks out of the rood to mid shaft area, all you do is start at the root (so it flattens) and curve at the end (so it creates a nice body wave or even tight curl)
I did this yesterday night before going to a Christmas party and I was so please with the results! SERIOUSLY!! It's early morning now and my curls and hair looks the same as when I went to bed. This product is amazing. Being a hair dresser I have tried many products and this, VERY IMPRESSIVE!

Saw this on TV, my daughter showed interest in it. Went looking for it the next day, and could only find one on the shelf, so I brought it home without her knowing. (It's on her Christmas List). I tried it out today and I don't think/ I KNOW my hair has NOT had this much body to it since the 80's. Not saying I have a horrible 80's hairstyle from using this product, but the ease in styling and finished look can't be beat.

I've had this flat iron for a few months, having "upgraded" from an older model with wider plates. This one heats up much faster and is a lot easier to use since it's lighter with narrower plates. I get my hair done faster and love the results. The curl feature is an added bonus; it's worked well for curling hair under and creating gentle waves. I saw similar flat irons that cost double or triple what this one cost. Get this iron - you won't be disappointed.

I saw this item on TV and wanted to try and was so happy when I found it at my local Walmart store!
The best part is that you can easily and quickly make loose curls but if you are in the mood for straight hair - it's a great straightener too!
The unit does take a little practice but the instructional DVD really helped me. It's so simple that you are just turning your wrist 180degrees and sliding down to make a beautiful curl.
My friend even bought one after seeing me new curls!! Love it!!

I love that this straightener also curls your hair easily; giving you loose curls and waves. Not sure why the first reviewers had so many problems. Curling irons can be tricky to use but the You Style is as easy as straightening. It does take a little practice but I love the loose red-carpet curls it gives me that last all day! I love this iron! After seeing the commercials, and reading the reviews, I had to try this product out! As soon as I got it, I plugged it in and it was hot in less than 20 seconds! I was hesitant about the curling plates, but mastered my curling technique in seconds - straightening was simple! It left my hair shiny and healthy looking. My hair is straight but is very puffy and frizzy looking. I have been using a flat iron for years to smooth it out. The flat iron does the job, but the ends look a bit brittle and don't have any movement. This Conair CS54 iron lets me flatten my puffy hair and gently tuck the ends under so my layered cut actually moves around and doesn't just hang flat. Overall it totally serves my purpose.

I use this product for curling my hair. I have had it since the 13th of July and I LOVE it! Best thing I have EVER spent money on! I have naturally straight hair and this gives me the curls that I have wanted to achieve without having to go to a salon and I can curl my past shoulder length hair in 15 minutes flat! I have gotten compliments on how much volume I have and I owe it all to this!

I've tried using the cheaper straighteners/curling irons, and nothing works better than this! This works amazing...it has a way better quality than other ones and I think $30 buys you a better straightener than any cheaper one...it's worth the extra money because it lasts longer and works better...I used to think the cheaper ones worked good, but they just fry up your hair and damage it, this one takes away frizz, lasts ALL DAY long and is your moneys worth, trust me...its worth it!

This product is AWESOME. I have really tight curls that always look wet and crunchy and have always wanted to do the light dry big curls. This iron really does the job. You have to play around with it to get it to work for your hair. But I'm recommending it for everyone I know. And on top of it all it's a banging straightner.
